Education & Training
Dr. Reed earned her undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to becoming a Pittsburgh orthodontist, she completed a three-year advanced orthodontic residency and a Master of Science in Oral Biology at the University of California – San Francisco.
Her Master’s thesis at UCSF contributed to a long-term clinical study examining the effect of female reproductive hormones on temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disease. During her time in San Francisco, she also founded the Bay Area Pitt Alumni Club.
Professional Memberships & Community Involvement
Dr. Reed is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Western Pennsylvania Society of Orthodontists, The Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association.
Her practice proudly supports the East End community through sponsorships of various girls’ and boys’ youth sports leagues and local theater groups.
Life Outside the Office
Dr. Reed and her husband Joel are empty nesters—daughter Ella is studying at UC Berkeley (go Bears!). In their free time, they enjoy running, hiking, playing tennis, cooking, skiing, and watching movies together.
